We use the information to respond to your inquiries, coordinate and provide care and services, communicate about appointments and visits, coordinate referrals, and operate and improve our services. We do not sell your personal information.
Tender Care offers text messaging (SMS and MMS) to communicate with patients, their authorized representatives, and referral sources.
By providing your mobile number to us — during intake or registration, on a consent or contact form, or by texting us or using our call-to-text option — you agree to receive text messages from Tender Care Home Health & Hospice related to your care and our services. Consent to receive text messages is not a condition of receiving care or services.
Messages may include appointment and visit scheduling and reminders, care coordination and follow-up, requests for or delivery of information, documents, or images related to your care, referral coordination, and responses to messages you send us. We do not send marketing or promotional text messages.
Message frequency varies based on your care and your interactions with us.
Message and data rates may apply, depending on your mobile carrier and plan. Tender Care does not charge for text messages.
You can opt out at any time by replying STOP to any message. After you reply STOP, we will send one confirmation message and will not send further texts unless you opt back in. You can opt back in at any time by texting START or by contacting our office.

Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
No mobile information will be shared with or sold to third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Information may be shared with service providers that help us deliver text messaging (for example, our communications platform), solely to provide the service. Text messaging opt-in data and consent are not shared with any third parties for their own purposes.
Text messages may contain limited protected health information necessary for your care, handled in accordance with HIPAA and our Notice of Privacy Practices. Standard text messaging may be less secure than other methods; by opting in, you acknowledge that you wish to receive text communication from us.
We do not sell or rent your personal or mobile information. We may share information with service providers who perform services on our behalf (such as our communications and IT platforms), and as required or permitted by law. Health information is shared only as described in our Notice of Privacy Practices.
