Tender Care Home Health & Hospice welcomes volunteers from diverse backgrounds, experiences, and cultures, fostering an environment of respect and personalized care. We offer flexibility in volunteer roles, allowing individuals to select tasks that best match their skills and preferences, ensuring our services effectively meet the unique needs of patients and families.
To qualify hospice volunteers must meet governmental requirements as well as standards established by Tender Care Health Services, and be able to volunteer within the Tender Care Home Health service areas.
A Volunteer Application must be completed and submitted before orientation. During the orientation, the following documents will be explained and completed:
- Sign an authorization for a criminal history background check.
- Bring proof of valid government-issued identification, such as your driver’s license, state ID, or passport.
- Bring evidence of current automobile insurance.
- Sign a statement that the following have been received and explained, a volunteer handbook, hospice policies, a confidentiality agreement, a HIPAA compliance agreement, and a Code of Conduct agreement.
