Behavioral Health & Primary Care
Tender Care’s behavioral health program is designed to work alongside primary care and other services, not separate from them. That matters when you’re also managing a chronic illness, recovering after a hospitalization, or navigating serious illness in the family. Common behavioral health concerns include:
- Anxiety and stress-related symptoms (constant worry, racing thoughts, panic, physical tension)
- Depression (low mood that sticks around, loss of interest, changes in sleep or appetite)
- Sleep problems that affect daily life
- Grief and bereavement, including complicated grief after a loss
- Trauma-related concerns, including PTSD
- Bipolar disorder (sometimes called manic depressive illness)
- Eating disorders and body image distress
- Relationship and family strain, life transitions, and adjustment issues
